The tent structure offers shelter to the weary traveller. This project refers to the Bedouin tribes who cross the deserts from one place of rest to another. Their settling in one place is temporary yet they continue to work and support the basic needs of their lives whilst in transit.

The craft brewery is a transitional place and similarly offers a place to stop, replenish, and socialise before you continue on your journey; be it travel for pleasure, or an ongoing education. The brewery has been established for both these needs. As a teaching facility it is an organised
educational space to learn how to brew and refine craft beers. And as a social space it opens up for people from directions to enjoy the casual
atmosphere, food, and beer.

The interior is a simple and free space to house the brewing tanks, teaching spaces, a bar, and general functionality of the operation. Yet, in contrast, the outdoor is covered by a large tent structure that spans people, place, and pleasure. The tent makes reference to the surrounding dry and peaked landscape while offering shade from the hot sun and swirling winds. Beneath the tent travellers can take rest on Turkish-style rugs and cushions and be served beer, tea, and other cooling drinks. This then becomes a transformable space, with no fixed furniture, so rugs and cushions can be moved to suit the visitors needs. The feeling is one of casual luxury, reclined relaxation, and a way to experience the freedom of the Bedouin.
